Referring to my letter of the 8th instant forwarding the Colonial accounts to March 1844 I now lay before Your Excellency a further account current dated the 31st of May which includes all payments made from the Treasury on account of Colonial Expenditure between the 31st of March and the 7th of May 1844, also sundry charges previously paid but not brought to account.
